An often asked question by naturalists in Rhode Island interested in the Rhode Island Natural History Survey is “how can I be more involved?” The answer to this is there are a variety of ways to become more involved. Here are some examples of areas where volunteers are routinely needed:

  • Assisting with our Annual Conference
  • Joining us at our Annual Bioblitz
  • Submitting observations of rare plant and animal populations (click here)
  • Reporting occurrences of invasive species (click here)
  • Becoming a member of the RINHS
